This is their latest release named Blitztrance Lipstick in Flesh Fetale. This is a cream formula with an easy application of true color with Glitters.

Let me sum up the colors and show you their swatches on my arm (top to bottom):

Blow Up – Wondrous Warm Beige

Sextrology – Neutral Pink

Christy – Divine Beige Peach

1995 – Warm Light Nude

Omi – Mid-tone Rose

Nude Romantique – Coral Rose with Golden Pink Pearl

Flesh Fetale – Bronzed Rose with Golden Pink Pearl

These are colors that I will use on a daily basis and all the formulas are very comfortable on the lips especially much to my surprise are the matte ones. They go on so smoothly on the lips & does not dry down till all your lip lines starts showing up. It’s creamy and the color payoff is superb!

I’ve found my HG lippies! If you haven’t tried Pat McGrath’s anything, you have to quickly grab some now! No looking back! Love love love! 💋💋💋

P/S: she has a wide variety of lip colors so start browsing! Her reds and deeper shades looks amazing on her site – Pat McGrath Labs and I’m tempted now. 🥰

Cheers

PAT McGRATH LABS Opulence: The Collection Mothership Totale – MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Temptation Eye Shadow Palette; MTHRSHP Subliminal Dark Star Eye Shadow Palette; MTHRSHP Subversive Metalmorphosis Eye Shadow Palette Swatches and Reviews

Hello beauties!

I bought the 3 Eye Shadow palettes in the Opulence Collection:

The one in Red is the MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Temptation, the BLUE one is MTHRSHP Subliminal Dark Star and the Pink one is the MTHRSHP Subversive Metalmorphosis Eye palettes.

I’m describing the textures and colors according to my own perception and swatches were done using my unprofessional dry fingers:

These are the swatches:

Red Palette: Left to right, top row, bottom row:

Celestial – Satin Beige Pale Gold

Burning Desire – Matte Earthy Brown

Supernova – Metallic Green with Glitters

Dark Paradise – Matte True Brown

Corruption – Metallic Red Bronze with Glitters

Provocatrix – Metallic Light Orangy Bronzy Brick with Glitters

Indoor Light:

Outdoor Light:

Blue Palette: Left to right, top row, bottom row:

Entice – Creamy Satin Light Gold with Glitters

Deep Space – Matte Grey

Enraptured – Metallic True Gold with Glitters

Dark Matter – Matte Black

Metropolis – Matte Satiny Purple Brown

Interstellar – Duo Chrome Light Purple Blue with Glitters

Pink Palette: Left to right, top row, bottom row:

Metallurgy – Metallic Light Bronze Gold

Copper – Metallic Orangy Copper

Sterling – Metallic Silver

Smoked Amethyst – Metallic Deep Purple

Bronze – Metallic Bright Orange

Gold Standard – Metallic Yellow Gold

From the three palettes, I like the Red One most because it a good mix of formulas and also more neutral tones with a deep fun green (Supernova) that you can add on for a more fun look if needed.

The Blue palette is my second fav because it has thus very beautiful bluish color (Interstella) that is quite ok for a simple one eye color look when applied with a light hand and then line the eyes with the matte black (Dark Matter).

My least fav would be the Pink palette because it’s an all Metallic formula and the colors are alittle too fun for daily use. However, I will still mix and match some colors from this palette and continue to love all 3.

Pat McGrath sells these separately for about SGD78 each or if you like all three, you can get this as a set for SGD180.

I think these are Limited Editions only meant for the 2018 Holidays and they do sell fast. So grab yours if you like the colors! 🌈🌈🌈

Cheers

PAT McGRATH LABS – PMG X THE MET MOTHERSHIP V EYE PALETTE – Bronze Seduction and LUST: GLOSS (Blitz Gold, Gold Allure, Pale Fire Nectar, Aliengelic) Swatches

Hello beauties!

I’m so excited to receive these today!!!

I bought the latest release Bronze Seduction Eye Palette from Pat McGrath online and I couldn’t wait for the lip gloss that was part of The MET collaboration so I ordered the four piece kit in ASTRAL color that contains both the Blitz Gold & Aliengelic (p.s. my nails happens to match!):

These came in that beautiful zip-lock bag that contains all the gold sequins! 😍 So happy to get these!

Let me show you how lovely these are:

Indoor Lighting: (Top to Bottom – Blitz Gold, Gold Allure, Pale Fire Nectar, Aliengelic):

Outdoor Lighting:

Blitz Gold is a true translucent yellow gold gloss with gold glitters; Gold Allure is a translucent clear gloss with gold glitters; Pale Fire Nectar is a translucent pink gloss with gold and pink glitters; Aliengelic (don’t you just love that name) is a translucent clear gloss with silver and pink glitters.

Can you see how gorgeous these are? Imagine them on your lips either on their own or using these as toppers. These would suit any skin tone in my opinion. There are micro glitters in them but does not feel gritty when applied to lips. The colors are translucent so your lip color shows up alittle if you use them on it’s on and the lipstick color will also show through if you use these as toppers. All of these applies with a pearlescent sheen and it lasted me through a lunch and coffee while testing it today. I am so going to use them daily! Love love love 😍😍😍

Ok ok, let’s dive into the PMG X THE MET MOTHERSHIP V EYE PALETTE in Bronze Seduction:

What a beautiful design the outer packaging is! I’m keeping it! ❤️

Hope you can see the names of each pan. Their names comes in a separate piece of cardboard that is placed into the box and not into the actual palette. I placed the cupboard over the mirror in this photo.

The colors are described as per my personal best as per my unprofessional finger swatches:

Left to right, top row to bottom row in the palette:

Skinshow Divine Glow – Shimmer – Beige Cream Pale Gold

Gilty Pleasure – Shimmer Glitter Dark Brown

Entrapment – Matte Warm Terracotta

Rose Gold 005 – Shimmer Glitter Rose Gold

VR Fire Opal – Glitter Duo Chrome Yellowish Greenish Gold

Xtreme Aubergine – Matte Deep Purple

Disobedient – Matte Deep Brown

Bronze Blaze – Shimmer Glitter Bronze

Blitz Flame – Duo Chrome Red that contains some bronze and gold

Astral Luna Gold – Duo Chrome White Gold with some Greens and Yellows

Indoor Lighting:

Outdoor Lighting:

These were all swatched one to two times using my dry finger and I can tell that the colors are so pigmented and the formulas are kick-ass amazing!!!!! I’ve yet to try these on my eyes but I am sure I have many options to play with just by looking at this palette alone! Some of the shades here offers a day to day look and there are some fun shades and toppers here as well so you can create more dramatic eye looks when you feel like!

I’ve had many other eye shadows in my collection and I think Pat McGrath nailed it. Colors and formulas are great and the packaging is damn beautiful!

Please go get this quickly. It’s a Limited Edition collaboration celebrating The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Holiday 2018 Exhibition, Jewelry: The Body Transformed!

See you in my next post of Pat McGrath’s Mothership Totale Opulence Collection!

Cheers

XOXO 🥰🥰🥰

La Prairie Cosmetics Reviews – Skin Caviar Essence-In-Foundation SPF 25 PA+++ Cushion Compact. Skin Caviar Concealer and Foundation SPF 15, Cellular Treatment Foundation Powder Finish, Cellular Treatment Loose Powder, Light Fantastic Cellular Concealing Brightening Eye Treatment Highlighter.

Featured

Hello dearies!!!!!! I’m back to tell you all about my La Prairie cosmetics stash. I will kick off with their newest foundation:

The Skin Caviar Essence-In-Foundation SPF 25 PA+++ Cushion Compact (SGD365, comes with one refill).

They have about 8 colors at the counters and mine is in NW10 Tender Ivory, fair yellow undertone:

This is the lightest shade and it works fine for me although it looks dark in the compact. It smells exactly like their Essence-In-Lotion. It’s a little on the watery side and feels fresh on the skin when applied. It’s somehow tacky after it dries down and I do need to set it with powder. The coverage is medium to medium-high. It conceals pores and redness 95% with just the first layer. I would not advise you to build the coverage because it would feel and look thick if you past the second layer. This is long wearing, say 6-7 hours before my T zone starts to look shiny. Quite comfortable on the skin throughout the day. I would say, if you have the money and want to try this, go get it! Oh one big con about this – the compact is super huge as compared to any other cushions compact in the market. Not very convenient to bring out…. 😞

Next up is the Skin Caviar Concealer & Foundation SPF 15 (SGD370):

This comes in about 20 shades but I think Singapore does not carry all shades. I got mine in Soft Ivory which is their lightest neutral because I find the others too pinkish or yellowish. This is a super duper HG Foundation. I love this amongst all my foundations. This is heaven sent! It’s so creamy and so easy to blend. Does not feel heavy at all and I swear that after you remove this at the end of the day, you can see that your skin has improved! From most feedback that I’ve seen, this Foundation offers a full coverage. However, in my opinion, I can use a tiny amount and get sheer coverage with a Beautyblender or Brush. If I need more coverage, this is damn easy to build. Even at full coverage, skin still looks like skin! Holy moly! Please go and try it. I am sure you will love this! It lasts throughout the day without any touch ups and no flaking, creasing etc. I’ve used this in hot & cold, humid & dry climate. It works under any conditions. Just set with powder if you are in hot humid weather. This is definitely a winner & the plus point is that it comes with a matching concealer at the top. I really dig this! Let me know once you’ve tried it if you do love it as much as I do! This one got me going back to La Prairie to try their other products 😱😱

Next up are 3 more items: Top – the Light Fantastic Cellular Concealer Brightening Eye Treatment Shade 20 (SGD130, comes with a refill); Bottom Left – the Cellular Treatment Loose Powder in Translucent 0 (SGD165); Bottom Right – Cellular Treatment Foundation Powder Finish in Ivoire (SGD150):

Top to Bottom – Shade 20 Concealer, Ivoire Compact Powder, Translucent 0 Loose Powder.

The Concealing Brightening Pen I choose is shade 20 which has a slight peach tone in it as I had intended to use this to conceal some light dark circles under my eyes. This formula is very creamy and easy to blend with fingers. I use this on most days with all other foundations and it works like a dream for under eye. No settling into fine lines and it conceals pretty well. No obvious white cast. No need to set with powder either. I would recommend this for light dark circles.

As for the Compact Powder, the powder is very finely milled. Goes on the skin smooth and gives decent powder compact kind of coverage. You can use it both wet and dry. So far as you can see, mine is still so new because I hardly reach for it. I bring this out for touch ups because the packaging is just so pretty and classy!!! (Mostly it’s just for the mirror.) 🤣🤣

Last is the Loose Powder. This is a so so for me. It sets make up decently but there’s no oil control properties and does feel a little cakey and gives me a grayish cast overall. Not sure if it’s the ‘color’ or formula. It’s suppose to be translucent but not in my case. I would prefer other powders. For this one, I have to mist it to rid the powdery look (no I did not use too much as I will buff setting powders into my skin) ☺️

I hope you like my reviews so far.

Stay tune for more La Prairie!

Cheers

Chanel – Le Mat De Chanel Fall-Winter 2018 Collection

Hello dearies!!!!!

*Courtesy of Nisah (my fav 😍 SA from Chanel Boutique, Vivocity).

Chanel launched their Fall-Winter 2018 Collection! These are prettily packaged in matte finishes.

In the collection, they have 6 matte lip crayons, 4 matte lip inks, one blush, 2 matte eye shadow quads, 3 matte eye shadows/liners/pencils and 2 matte nail polishes. Please visit the official Chanel Site for more details: https://mobile.chanel.com/en_SG/fragrance-beauty/makeup/c/new-collection.html

I bought the following:

1. Les 4 Ombres Clair Obscur number 308 (SGD93)

I hope you can tell from the following picture that the packaging is matte as compared to their usual glossy finish:

These eye shadows are very very creamy. Very easy to glide on and the color stays true. It’s also pigmented enough to build the depth that you like. This quad has more neutrals and browns that I like for an everyday look. If this is your thing, go get one.

The other matte quad in this collection is Quiet Revolution (312) and it has a beighy brown, a green, a blue and a grey color combination which I feel it’s more for a smokey eye look for a night out. Go explore it at their boutiques.

2. Stylo Ombre Contour in number 06 Nude Èclat (SGD61):

This is not a matte but from their metallic collection because the matte ones are in darker colors which I hardly use – a deep brown, a deep green & a deep bluish black. This comes in 3 mattes and 4 metallic shades. You can use it three ways – a kohl, liner or eyeshadow. The concept is very cool and that’s why I bought one to try. It is very easy to glide on and it stays on very well. Good for lazier days ☺️

3. Le Rouge Crayon De Couleur Mat in number 257 Discretion (SGD 50):

This has a good stay on power on the lips and wears well throughout the day. They have 5 other matte shades and they are all very pretty! Please go find a shade that you like and grab one!

4. Rouge Ink Allure number 168 Serenity (SGD 50):

This is packaged in a matte finished bottle and also the top is a black double c instead of their usual gold for their Ink series:

I love nudes and this one made it to my list as well. It goes on creamy and then dries down comfortably. However the longevity of this is not as good as the matte crayon. They will stain your cup/glass after a sip. But they come in more shades than the crayons which I’m sure you will find a color one (or more) to your liking 😊

I urge you to fly down to your nearest Chanel Beauty boutiques NOW and go play with the collection before they sell out! (The Blush is already out of stock). 😩Please Hurry! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

Cheers

Giorgio Armani – Armani Beauty – Neo Nude A-Line Collection Complexion Enhancing Watercolor Makeup

Hello dearies!

Look at these!!!!

Don’t they look so cute? Such demure and sweet looking packaging! These belongs to Armani Beauty’s Neo Nude Collection. In this collection, they launched a blush (4 shades), a contour (2 shades), a highlight (2 shades), a compact powder foundation (10 shades if I remember correctly) and a color changing lip balm (3 shades). For more details please go to the official Armani Beauty Site: https://www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com/makeup/face-makeup/neo-nudes/

Armani Beauty came into Singapore (at Tangs) in August 2018. I flew to the counter on their opening day and only managed to get one Blush, one Highlight & the Powder. 🙄 I was so upset when the SA told me that they did not bring in the Contour and only had a few pieces of the Blush (less than 10 of it). When I came home, I went Nordstrom online & got myself the Contour and one other Blush color that I wanted. (I did not get any of the lip balms because I have too many of the same kind).

Some Swatches:

  • Top to bottom:
  • Highlight – Number 10 (SGD 65 at Tangs)
  • Contour – Number 20 (SGD 75 at Nordstrom due to shipping cost)
  • Blush – Number 30 which is a Coral (SGD 65 at Tangs), and number 50 which is a Pink (SGD 75 at Nordstrom due to shipping cost)
  • This is how it looks after blending:
  • These are very sheer and very easy to blend – just dab it on the face and pat with fingers. The end result is super natural as though it’s from within the skin itself. I recommend these to people who likes to achieve a very natural no makeup makeup look. 🤗
  • As for the Compact Powder Foundation – Number 1.5 (SGD 105 at Tangs), it comes with a super soft brush inside:
  • I usually use my own brushes with powders but this brush that comes with it is good and the hair (I believe it’s synthetic) is so soft and picks up the powder efficiently. You can use this powder as a foundation but I think the coverage is really really really light. If you have very good skin, you probably don’t need this; if you do need coverage then this is not enough. 🤔
  • I prefer to use this to set my makeup after foundation because the powder seems to melt into your skin and gives it a nice velvety blurring result. I’ve used this a few times so the wavy swirls on the top have been swept off. It’s very convenient to put into your purse for on the go touch ups. I’ll definitely replenish when I’m done. 😍
  • Oh and the cover of the compact matches the color of the powder inside. So if you do want to get a darker shade for contour use, you can differentiate between the shades just by looking at the cover. 😎 That’s what we call innovative!
  • Loving it!
  • Cheers

  • La Mer Cosmetics, Swatches and Reviews (Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation; Luminous Lifting Cushion Foundation; Loose Powder; Sheer Pressed Powder; Foundation Brush; Powder Brush; Concealer; Cheek Tint; Bronzer)

    Hello dearies!!!!

It’s La Mer time!!!!!!! This is one of my HG brand from the skincare category. I have used their products for over 10 years now and I’ll be sharing my thoughts on their cosmetics line.

Here we have the following products:

    1. Foundation Brush (SGD 120)

    2. Soft Fluid Foundation – 03 Creme (SGD 190) 21 Shades but I think SG does not carry all shades.

    3. Cheek Tint in Coral and Pink Sands (SGD 105 each)

    4. Luminous Lifting Cushion Foundation – 12 Neutral Ivory (SGD 160) 12 or 15 Shades (I’m not very sure 😬)

    5. Sheer Pressed Powder – Translucent (SGD140) 4 Shades

    6. Concealer – Medium (SGD 120) 4 Shades

    7. Bronzer (SGD 135)

    8. Powder Brush (SGD 150)

    9. Loose Powder (SGD 170) – only one shade

First we look at the Foundation Brush:

This is made of synthetic hair and La Mer advocates this with the soft fluid foundation as they were launched at the same time. I used it with this foundation and a few other liquid foundations that I own and it gives a natural coverage. What I like is that it is easy to reach areas around the nose and inner corners of the eyes as it’s tapered at the tip but roundish and not overly pointy. It does not prick the skin like some other synthetic hair brush does. However, you do need to use it with a light hand because if you press too hard, it does makes your foundation slightly streaky. I prefer to use this with their cushion foundation as it has a higher coverage and not the liquid one as it has a thinner consistency. The brush somehow seems to thin out the coverage till a very sheer finishing. It’s not quite friendly to build coverage with this brush either. I’ll recommend some other foundation brush in the near future when I share my collection of brushes. 😜

Next we have the Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation:

I believe you can tell how “fluid” this is with just half a pump on my wrist. Creme (03) is the lightest shade for warm undertone. They have 21 Shades in total from the official site (https://m.cremedelamer.com/product/5817/40984/skincolor/the-soft-fluid-long-wear-foundation-broad-spectrum-spf-20/face-foundation-makeup#/shade/03_Creme) I’m sharing the US site as the SG site does not have enough info. Please do go to the La Mer counters to have your shade match as they might not have all 21 shades. This foundation feels very comfortable on the face and provides a very sheer natural coverage. There is a fragrance to it upon application but that would fade off after a couple of hours of wearing. As for it’s claim on being long wear, this does not work well on me as I have combination oily T zone and SG weather is humid most of the time. This wears off quite quickly around the T zone area say after about 3 hours where it starts to slide off. I tried it with a few primers and it still starts to slide off around my T zone area within 4 hours max. I think it would work better on dry skin in my opinion and do note that this oxidizes just a slight tinge at the end of the day. 😶

Next we have the Cheek Tints in Coral & Pink Sands:

These were limited editions and they may have sold out by the time you read this so I will not say too much. These tints can be used on the lips as per advised by the SA (sales associate). It feels soft and taste minty when applied on the lips with super sheer color. When on the cheeks, it looks very natural but somehow feels tacky. Maybe you did not miss much even if you are not able to get these now. 😖

Next is the Luminous Lifting Cushion Foundation:

The color that I’m using is shade 12- Neutral Ivory which is a neutral undertone. They should have around 12 to 15 shades and I think SG carries most of the shades. Please note that these shades are fairer than its fluid foundation so please go to the La Mer counters to try it on your face. It starts from 0 which is the fairest to 4 or 5 which is the darkest and then the second digit represents the undertone, 1 for cool, 2 for neutral, 3 for warm. I picked 12 which is light neutral but not the lightest which they have in 02 as it’s too whitish for me. So please try it before getting one if you are interested. I read somewhere that this was inspired by Korean beauty trend where cushion foundations started. Thus I think that’s why the shades leans toward the fairer end. If not mistaken, these are only available in Asia.

First the packaging, housed in a very lovely in a rose gold tone (classy)! But mind you it’s a fingerprint magnet 🤣 I wipe it after each use cos I have OCD (joke – but I do like to keep my products clean and neat). It’s like most cushion foundations that comes with a sponge applicator and a lid to close the cushion inside the box with a click. When applied using the given sponge, you do not need to press hard into the cushion as it picks up quite a bit of product easily. Using patting motions on your face, this goes on very easily. The coverage I say is medium-high. It was able to mask my pimple that I had previously with just one pat and for light dark circles, you do not need a concealer! With a full face using this, I think I look “masked-like” which I’m not a big fan of. So the SA advised me to try it with the foundation brush and I did just that. I love the finish with the brush as I look more natural. My skin is usually pretty alright so I prefer light to medium coverage max. I also tried it using my BB (beauty blender) and the results was also lovely. I prefer not to use it with the sponge applicator provided. But if you do like better coverage, you will like the applicator. This finish I get with the brush is sheer glowy and with the bb it’s more velvety. This is more long wearing than the fluid foundation and it seems to have some oil control properties. It held up nicely on my face for for at least 5 hours before my T zone starts to shine a little and I did not use any primer. Overall it’s a lovely foundation which I think it’s good for normal to combination to maybe even oily skin types. It’s also very convenient to bring out for touch ups if needed and you do not need to set this with powder and it does not oxidize. Quite a winner!

    Next is the Pressed Powder:

This comes in 4 shades and I got mine in Translucent. I usually prefer my powders colorless as I use these mostly for touch ups or setting or finishing so I rather it not make any further adjustments to my foundation/concealer/blush etc. The three other colors are light, medium & medium-deep. You can go to the counters to get some comparison. This finishes off as a matte and I like it over my T zone and not full face (I like to keep other parts of my face dewy). It works very well in keeping my T zone shine under control & at most I would use this one more time if I’m out throughout the day. The compact is quite flat and I think the cover is a magnetic closure. A good powder to have for oilier skin types but I won’t use it full face.

    Next is the Concealer:

This is also housed in a lovely rose gold metal case which is very classy! I got mine in medium and it works for my under-eyes with slight dark circles. It comes in 4 shades and medium seems to have a slight peachy undertone that works better for dark circles. The lightest shade is probably better for highlighting use or if you are really super fair, otherwise I would not recommend as you would look like you have some white rings under your eyes instead 🤓 This concealer is creamy and very easy to blend. I do like it but the lasting power is averagely around 4-5 hours. If I set it lightly with powder, some fine lines will start to show up around the same time. This works if you are gonna bring this out to touch up (at least twice for one full day) but not for a lazy person like me who does very little touch ups when I’m out. I think there are better ones out there…😬

    Next is the Bronzer:

This one is a winner! It’s so pretty when you swirl it all together. I use it as a blusher instead of bronzer as you can see it’s hard to reach just the Browns in the pan. Love it! 😍

Next we have the Loose Powder:

It’s housed in a very heavy glass jar which makes this look very elegant and nice on your dresser. It’s very finely milled and so hard to swatch. It has some fine specks of glitters in it but it does not show up on your face like a disco ball 🤣 I use this as a finishing powder and not setting powder as it does not finish up matte nor does it helps to control shine. It’s pretty colorless on the face. Nice to have 😆

Last but not least is the Powder Brush:

This is also made from synthetic hair but it feels so fluffy & luxurious! It’s a big baby that does not prick your face! It’s so super soft you gotta feel it for yourself! I’m amazed by the quality. It picks up powders perfectly well and feels so good on the face. Please go grab one like now! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️You won’t regret it.

I hope I did not bore you with these many products but I wanted to put these all together into one category.

Stay tune for my next posts on La Mer Skincare – sneak preview:

Chantecaille Cosmetics Swatches and Reviews (Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer; La Sirena Bronzer Highlighter Duo; Luminescent Eye Shades; Philanthropy Cheek Shade, Les Perles Metallic Eye Liner)

    Hello dearies!!!

I’m sharing my latest tiny stash from Chantecaille!

    I bought 6 items & they are:

    1. Philanthropy Cheek Color – Butterfly (Bliss) SGD 68

    2. Luminescent Eye Shade in the color Sole SGD 80

    3. Luminescent Eye Shade in the color Mare SGD 80

    4. La Sirena Bronzer – Highlighter Duo SGD 131

    5. Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer in the shade Alabaster (Fair with balanced undertones) SGD 126

    6. Les Perles Metallic Eye Liner in the color Bleu ( they have one more color in Vert) SGD 71

The two eye shadows, bronzer with highlighter duo & the eyeliner are suppose to be Limited Editions so I’m not too sure if these items will be made permanent or not as they were sold out like hot cakes once they hit the counter at Takashimaya Singapore. (Chantecaille is only available at Takashimaya Singapore).

The butterfly blusher should also be limited edition as it is part of the Philanthropy collection that has other themes and they are Turtle, Horse, Bee, Elephant & a Coral. Some of the proceeds goes to support the various organizations & I think this is just perfect! For more information, please go to their official site: https://chantecaille.com/collections/philanthropy-cheek-shades These Cheek shades comes with a shimmery overspray & it will be gone from your first dip into the pan & that’s what happened to mine as you can see it’s without the overspray in the picture above. 😖 I can tell you that all 6 of the blushers are darn pretty! 😍 I have one too many blushers so I had to stop myself from getting all 6! (When I bought mine, the Bee & the Coral was oos so I did not like the fact that I was not going to be able to purchase the full collection anyway) 😬

Let me show you some swatches before I go on:

(Top to Bottom – Just Skin Moisturizer in Alabaster; Eye Shadow Sole – a beautiful coppery brown; Eye Shadow Mare- a lovely greenish moss; Bronzer; Highlighter; Butterfly (Bliss) Blush – Soft pink)

The Eyeliner in Bleu. As I’ve mentioned earlier, the other shade is Vert which is a green. I don’t really like this because it felt too watery & not easy to use if you are not a makeup guru (in my opinion). The glitters will not show up much if it’s just a thin outline. Probably more suited for a night party look with thicker lined eyes.

The eyeshadows & bronzer highlighter duo I’m telling you to grab these if you can lay your hands on still! These are amazingly gorgeous! 😍 The texture is so so so smooth, creamy and easy to blend! It’s so pigmented! Love Love Love!

As for the butterfly blusher, it’s a pretty pink but not something uncommon. I would still buy it as I love butterflies! And also you will feel good for contributing to whichever organization (depends on which animal or Coral you choose) as part of our duty as humans. Do your part! Go get one!

The Just Skin Tined Moisturizer is another amazing product. I’m in love with the formula. It is very lightweight when on the skin & I don’t feel like I’m wearing any makeup. It’s like a light foundation with a SPF of 15. Good on days when you feel lazy as this looks so natural and it blends in a swift (and I’m only using finger not bb or brush) 🤓 Saves you some time! I don’t set it with powder as I like the natural glow it gives. My skin looks as though it has drank enough water & it feels velvety.

It covers my redness & uneven skin tone pretty easily. I like the packaging that it’s in a tube form, so easy to pack it into your handbag for a quick touch up on the go. I would say – go try it! 7 shades available! Fyi – mine in Alabaster is the lightest shade.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this!

Tatcha Review Part 1 – Silk Canvas Protective Primer

    Hello everyone!

    It’s Tatcha time!

Most of Tatcha’s products flies off shelves the moment they hit Singapore’s Sephora stores. I searched high and low and finally managed to lay my hands on a few items but it’s a pity I’m not able to get the highly raved about mist!

    Tatcha Silk Canvas Protective Primer

  • This is sold for SGD72 at Sephora. It contains silk that is suppose to smooth & preserves the look of makeup.
  • Comes in a twist cap round container like this:
  • It comes with a disc that helps you pick up the right amount:
  • You are suppose to scrape the primer with the disk gently until it reaches the line that is marked on it but in my opinion, a little goes a long way!
  • This is sufficient for your whole face 😁
  • See how easily it spreads?
  • Viola! All smooth!
  • This primer indeed lives up to its name of smoothing! My makeup glides on top of it and it seems to adhere pretty well I would say!
  • One thing to note though, this is not a oil control primer, hence my T zone got oily as the day goes but I still like it because at the end of day after I removed my makeup, my skin does feels soft and still smooth as it’s suppose to protect and probably sealed my skincare that was underneath.
  • I would recommend this for those looking for a smoothing primer with skincare properties!
  • Cheers
  • XOXO
